Density is the defining constraint
Green Square concentrates an enormous amount of activity into a small area, and that changes cleaning in ways a suburban site never encounters. Foot traffic through a plaza-facing lobby is relentless, so entry matting and glass need attention daily rather than weekly. Waste volume is high enough that bin rooms in some towers are serviced five times a week. Basement parking runs several levels down, and every level carries the same oil and grit load.
The logistics are equally tight. There is no casual parking, docks are booked, service lifts are shared with removalists and trades, and security sign-in is standard after hours. Contractors who have not worked the precinct lose their first week to access alone. Still a construction precinct in parts
Green Square is not finished. Buildings continue to reach completion, and new tenancies continue to fit out at street level. That means the precinct needs handover cleaning alongside routine maintenance — often in the same building on the same night.
